Dang! America Got It Right This Time!

Let the recording sessions begin!

But to be fair to little Archie, he really gave the best performance of his life yesterday but he's still young. He still has the possibility to achieve so much more. Perhaps even starring in the future releases of High School Musical. Hehe.

But David Cook winning is so, so right!

This really was the best American Idol finale. Do we agree?

Now I'm sad. The Office and House MD Season 4 are done. And now, American Idol and CSI.

September seems so far away.

The Stoner has Left The Building

There's just not much left for this guy however cute he may be and despite being the 'brain dead' that he is.

Predictability is now the name of the game.

But there's still Syesha. Didn't think she'd last this long.

Bye, Bye, Miss American Pie

Off you go then...

And please, please, please give poor Syesha a break. It's time for her to go as well. She's been in the bottom two/three since forever. =).

And one last thing, please give Ms. Abdul a higher dosage of her Prozac, Xanax, and Ritalin. Homegirl badly needs it.

And then there were six...

Oh yeah! Goodbye Kristy Lee Cook! You should've been booted out when you butchered that Beatles song.

Okay, I'm still a little pissed that Michael Johns was eliminated before he was supposed to but atleast there's only one other irritating person left in the finalists (HINT: Initials S.M.). My prediction, the title is going to be between the two Davids.

Mariah Week was last night, and I love David C's version of 'Always Be My Baby.' Well done.

Forgot To Mention...

Brook White reminds of Tori Amos minus the angst---she's Tori Amos lite. I don't think she'll win this competition, but I like her.

You Don't Say...

My husband and I were laughing so hard last night when we watched this. Not because Ramiele Malubay was a horrible singer (she was gre-a-t!) but because of her song choice.

I bet that her Filipino mom or dad had a say when she chose this song.

Just ask any videoke-loving native around here. This one's a definite staple.

Here are my bets for this season:

David Archuleta

Cute. He has that innocent, fun-loving aura and his voice is not bad either. Looks good on the stage.

Michael Johns

Rawwr. Love the body and his stage presence. Voice is not bad too.

Asia'h Epperson

Loved her version of "I'm Going Down" and she pulled off Janis Joplin. Enough said.
